Glossary / Data & Targeting

What does First-Party Data mean?

The data your company collects directly from its customers and visitors, with their consent.

Full definition

First-party data covers everything you collect directly: CRM emails, purchase history, behavior on your site or app. Unlike third-party data (bought from others), it's reliable, consented and yours.

Why is it important?

With third-party cookies disappearing and regulation tightening (GDPR), first-party data becomes targeting's main fuel: lookalikes, exclusions, personalization and measurement increasingly rest on your own data.

The Jour de Chance approach

"We help clients structure their data capital: clean collection, enrichment, value-based segmentation (LTV) and activation as hashed audiences on platforms — without ever exposing raw data."
