What does Programmatic Buying mean?

The automated buying and selling of digital advertising inventory in real-time (RTB - Real Time Bidding).

Full definition

Gone are the contracts negotiated by fax to buy an insert on a website. Programmatic is an exchange where machines buy ad impressions in milliseconds. Advertisers no longer buy a 'site' but a targeted 'audience' via data, wherever they browse on the web.

Why is it important?

It is the backbone of modern digital advertising (Display, Video, Audio, pDOOH, CTV). It allows reaching the right person, with the right message, at the right time, at scale.

The Jour de Chance approach

"Beyond Google and Meta (the duopoly), we use our independent programmatic DSPs (Demand Side Platforms) to source premium inventory (Le Monde, L'Équipe, or Connected TV) at often more competitive costs."
