What does Server-Side Tracking mean?

A measurement architecture where events transit through your server rather than the user's browser.

Full definition

Instead of sending conversions directly from the browser to Meta or Google (client-side), server-side routes events through a server you control. Result: fewer losses from adblockers and browser restrictions, and full control over shared data.

Why is it important?

Advertisers typically see 15 to 30% more conversions correctly measured after migrating. Fuller signals also mean better-fed bidding algorithms, hence better-performing campaigns.

The Jour de Chance approach

"We deploy server-side tracking (GTM Server, Conversions API) filtering personal data at the source: the platform receives the conversion signal it needs, never more."
